Instructions to MotorSure OBD App - Mercedes Benz as an example

Step 1 Download and Install the App: Search MotorSure in App Store or Goole Play

For Android: Download the App named “MotorSure MB Car Diagnostics”

For iOS: Download the App named “MotorSure for German Cars”, and then select MB system for Mercedes Benz.

App Features and Introduction:

"MotorSure MB" is a professional app designed for Mercedes-Benz car owners. By connecting to the MotorSure OBD Tool hardware device, you will get access to OE-level diagnostics, maintenance services, and one-click hidden feature activation functions.

These features will help you fully understand, customize, and enhance your driving experience.

Manufacturer-level Diagnostics:

- All-systems fault codes reading & clearing; Control Units Information; Live Data

MOD-Activation (One-Click activate hidden features):

MOD-Activation is a unique MotorSure feature that allows you to enable or disable various hidden, comfort, safety, and driving-related functions. With no programming knowledge required, these pre-made programming functions will quickly adjust your car's comfort or performance, personalizing your driving experience.

Supported Models: 2008-2021 all Benz passenger car models

Step 2: Register Your Account, Log in the App and connect MotorSure OBD. (iOS as an example; Android is same)

Open the App. For the first time, tap Sign Up to register with your email. Or start a quick log-in with Facebook, Google, or Apple.

Sign up and create your account (if choose to login with email): type in email address, send the code. Remember to check spam if cannot find the code from your Inbox. After Sign Up, you will be guided back to Log in page. Use your email address and password to Login.

Now you have Logged in the App. Select MB system here. And tap Continue. For Android users, no need selection. 

 

Now Plug MotorSure OBD to OBD2 Port. Turn on ignition but do not start the engine. Make sure Bluetooth of your phone is on. And tap “Connect”. You will find MotorSure OBD in the list.

Step 3: Connecting to vehicle and loading for vehicle information

Establish the connection and start data preparing for your vehicle. It requires constant internet connection. It could take up to 5 minutes for the data loading because it will load the full system diagnostics resources.

Loading completed. And you will see the Vehicle information and function display

After loading vehicle information. You will enter this page. To program ambient light, you can directly access the “MOD” at bottom right, as shown in above image. Then you will find the list of one click mods including ambient lights. If you have any question, create a support ticket.

Access the one click mods list, and select the feature and option to activate. The activation normally takes less than 30 seconds. While activating:

Do not plug out the device.

Do not turn off Bluetooth on your phone.

Do not operate the vehicle

Whenever you had questions or any situation using MotorSure and the App, you can create support tickets in App. This will be the quickest way to get technical support from our engineers directly.

How to Create a Support Ticket in MotorSure App.

As we mentioned in the agree-to-buy, all features and functions are based on vehicle status, there could be sometimes that certain features will fail.

However, you don't need to worry. Support ticket is here to help.

 

Any time when you use the "One Click Mods" and it is performed "Defeat", it will prompt to you for support tickets.

You can also create tickets in the profile page. Select the function and reason to get in touch with our engineers.

All support tickets will be proper replied timely. Normally within few hours.

Hello there , i purchased an ambiant light kit from DMP car design for my MERCEDES C220 W205 YEAR 2021 , they sent me one of your dongles with the kit and to download 2 apps MOTORSURE VAG and MOTORSURE MB , the VAG app dosn't recognise the car and MB app dosn't exsist any where .
